Engine failure in Dardanelles
In the afternoon of May 16, 2021, the 'Newyorker' suffered an engine failure while entering the Dardanelles from the Marmara Sea. Coastal Safety deployed the tugs 'Kurtarma 4' and 'Kurtarma 10' to assist. The ship was towed to the Sevketiye Anchorage where she was moored.
