Nevsky Shipyard starts sea trials of M/V Neva-Leader 3

The self-propelled 7150DWT dry bulk carrier Neva-Leader 3 (Hull No 403) on April 30, 2013 left a Nevsky Shipyard’s dock to undergo the shipbuilder’s sea trials, the shipbuilding company press release said. The vessel of project RSD49 was built for North Western Shipping Company. The project was developed by Marine Engineering Bureau-Design-St.Pb. Nevsky Shipyard is executing a contract for a series of ten self-propelled dry cargo ships of 7150DWT of Project RSD49 for North Western Shipping Company. Overall, the NW Shipping had ordered 12 vessels of RSD49 project. Two ships will be built at Astrakhan-based Lotus Shipyard. The M/V Neva-Leader-1 was outfitted at Petrozavodsk-based Onega docks and floated out in May, 2012. Report with photo on http://en.portnews.ru/news/159706/
