On Mar 12, 2010, at 4.04 a.m. the Norwegian roro ferry "Amber", 6719 gt (IMO: 8917871) and the "Noblesse-C" were in collision at Vatlestraum narrow south of Bergen. The coast guard vessels "Tor" and "Bergen" were soon on scene. The "Amber" had run aground after the collision. Both ships had pilots on board, but there was a failure in communication.
