Disabled ship towed to Zonguldak

The 'Nadezhda', en route from Tekirdag to Temryuk, suffered an engine failure and went adrift off Zonguldak in position 41 29 30 N, 31 32 00 E in the morning on Jan 18, 2022. The crew could not carry out repairs, and a tug was tasked by Coastal Safety and the port authority of Zonguldak. The vessel was towed to Zonguldak the same day, where a class surveyor together with Chief Engineer will carry out a detailed damage survey.

Technical failure in Istanbul Strait

The 'Nadezhda', en route from Samsun to Istanbul, suffered a technical failure at Sariyer point in the Istanbul strait on Jan 21, 2020, at 3 a.m. The vessel was shifted to Büyükdere anchorage where repairs were carried out by the crew. The vessel berthed in Istanbul on Jan 22 at 5.30 a.m.
