Fire in Pagasitikos Gulf

Sat Oct 01 18:11:03 CEST 2022 Timsen

In the morning of Sep 30, 2022, a fire broke out aboard the 'NACC Poros' in the southern Pagasitikos Gulf. The fire on the ship was extinguished by the crew. Two patrol vessels of the Coast Guard and the tug "Christos VII" arrived at the scene. The ship sailed under its own power to the mooring of the port facility of Agria Volos, while an inspection by officials of the Port Authority and by an echelon of the Fire Service followed. The ship was docked at private port facilities, where it banned from sailing. The 13 crew members were not injured.
