Yacht slammed into marina

The "Moatiz" crashed into the E arm of the Cairns Marlin Marina in Queensland in the evening of Aug 10, 2019, just after 6 p.m. The starboard gear was stuck ahead, after doing a tight turn. The crew tried to control the vessel and checked if it was a technical or mechanical malfunction, but they still couldn't control the speed. They then shut down the engines and dropped anchor, before the yacht crashed came to a grinding stop next to a pier at the marin, crushing smaller boats moored nearby. The apppoaching yacht narrowly missed diners who were hurriedly getting out of their seats as the yacht was coming in. Damage to the superyacht was limited.
