The small cruise ship "MINICOY" which was to sail off to Lakshadweep with all its passengers literally in place on May 1, is still stationary. An engine failure is said to have been the cause, which has stranded hundreds of passengers. The ship is still at anchor for the last six days. It meant not only disappointment but needless expenses and hardships for those who came from outstation and upcountry points.
