Multratug ship transferred to Burgas

Tue Aug 08 12:26:10 CEST 2017 Timsen

Multraship is strengthening its position in the Black Sea region by transferring the "Multratug 26", to the Port of Burgas. The Azimuth Stern Drive (ASD) tug will be operated by Multratug's wholly owned subsidiary, Bourgas Tug Service. There was a significant growth in our Black Sea operations, mainly in harbour towage and in offshore work, not least that involving the Turkish Stream Project (and its predecessor the South Stream project) to build a natural gas pipeline from Southern Russia to Turkey. The "Multratug 26", which features a 63-ton (57.2-tonne) bollard pull, will strengthen the Bourgas Tug Service fleet, which consists of six tugs. She entered the port of Burgas no July 30, 2017.
