Engine blackout off Deschambault
The "MSC Regina" suffered mechanicals problems off Deschambault on Oct 9, 2013, whilst enroute Montreal-Sines. The ship had encountered an engine black out. In trouble on St. Lawrence river
Boxship MSC Regina reportedly suffered a blackout sailing down St. Lawrence river between Grondines and Deschambault on Oct 9 13. Maybe vessel ran aground. According to AIS track from maritinetraffic.com, vessel stopped movement and stranded off channel at around 1039 LT. At 0100 UTC Oct 10 vessel was in the same position with two tugs at her side. Vessel is en route from Montreal to Sines, Portugal.
