Weekly container service starts at Port Canaveral

Mon Feb 01 14:44:16 CET 2016 arnekiel

Port Canaveral marked a milestone Sunday in its quest to boost its cargo business, with the arrival of the first ship of what will be a weekly cargo container service at Brevard County's seaport. The “Blue Stream” service will use a rotation of five ships on a cargo route that connects Port Canaveral with Central America and Europe. Port Canaveral is working on the new cargo service in a partnership with GT USA, which operates the Canaveral Cargo Terminal. On Sunday, the M.V. Norderoog was the first ship to visit Port Canaveral as part of the new service. Late Sunday, the ship was being moved into place to unload cargo there. http://www.floridatoday.com/story/news/local/2016/01/31/weekly-container-service-starts-port-canaveral/79472590/
