Propulsion problems near Hoek van Holland breakwaters
The ANTJE WULFF encountered propulsion problems near the Hoek van Holland breakwaters on Apr. 15 and was assisted by the tugs SMIT CHEETAH, FAIRPLAY 26 , FAIRPLAY III, which were later joined by the SMIT ELBE and SMIT HUDSON
New charter after month long lay up
The "Antje Wulff" which has been laid up in Tor Bay since Feb 16, 2014, on Apr 12 left bound for Rotterdam. She has been taken on a one year time charter at 6700 US Dollars per day by CMA CGM and will replace the "Maersk Patras" on the Maersk TA4/St Laurent 1 service from Northern Europe to Canada. Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Montreal and Halifax are the ports served on this four ship 28-day-loop on which CMA CGM had a slot charter agreement with Maersk. The "Antje Wulff" has a slightly smaller TEU capacity than the 3 Maersk vessels "Maersk Palermo", "Maersk Penang" and "Maersk Pembroke", but has more reefer plugs. She is due to arrive in Rotterdam on Apr 13t and leave the following day for Bremerhaven.
