Medevac off Hoek van Holland
On Nov 21, 2019, at 10.50 p.m. the KNRM Neeltje Jans was alerted for a patient aboard the 'Adriana Maria - TH 7:. The ship was 35 miles off the coast. The KNRM Radio Medical Service decided that the patient had to be taken to the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, and it was decided to alert the Hoek van Holland rescue station. The trawler thus headed to Hoek van Holland, where it was more easier to disembark the man. At 12.30 a.m. the lifeboat went alongside in position 51 ° 54.50 'N003 ° 19.01' E. In the night of Nov 13, 2012, around 1 a.m. the "Adriana Maria - Th 7" had suffered engine trouble in the anchorage about eight miles .off the coast of Scheveningen. The lifeboat "Kitty Roosmale Nepveu" was sent to assist and took the casualty in tow towards the port of Scheveningen where a commercial tug was ready to berth the f/v.
