Collision off Yokohama
The container m/v 'Hai Su 6' (IMO:9339026) was in collison with the 'Misaki Maru'on March 2, 2023, at around 06.35 a.m. Tokyo time off the Higashi-Ogishima port, Yokohama. Both ships were on the same route from Tokyo to Yokohama. The 'Misaki Maru' loaded with steel, suffered damage to tis starboard side bow. The 'Hai Su 6' suffered a breach at its port side stern above the waterline. Both ships remained seaworthy, and the 'Hai Su 6' berthed in Yokohama port at 8.15 a.m., the 'Misaki Maru' at 9.15 a.m.
