Generator trouble caused blackout

The "Mirror", en route from Rotterdam to Dublin, with a crew of 12 on board, suffered a problem with its generator causing a blackout in position 49 55 06 N, 004 58 18 W, on May 13, 2019, at 4.10 p.m. The master intended to drop anchor and has been advised of sub-sea cables in the area. The "Mirror" reported that it had use of its engines. At 6.20 p.m. repairs were completed, and the ship continued its voyage and berthed at the Dublin Ferryport Terminal on May 14 at 1.20 p.m.
