Grounding on Morskoy Canal
The "Medon" ran aground on June 13, 2015, at 8.23 p.m. in the area of buoy 37A on the Morskoy Canal, while leaving the port of St. Petersburg bound for Nyköping. At 8.59 p.m. the vessel was refloated with the help of a port tug. No damages were reported, but the vessel was ordered to anchor for a survey.
