Grounding on the Trave
On June 1, 2016, the "Lene D" was caught by a wind gust on the Trave at Schlutup and pushed out of the fairway. The shop was about to leave the wharf of the Nordgetreide in Lübeck-Schlutup towards Szczecin. At 2.40 p.m. the ship backed off the quay when it came off course towards its port side and got stuck on sandy bottom. The tug "Simson" was alerted and pulled the ship off at 4.30 p.m. The water police attended with their boats "Greif" and "Sperber". The "Lene D" berthed at the Lehmann Quay at 4.45 p.m. for a survey of the hull by divers. The ship was released at 8 p.m. and continued the voyage at 10 p.m. The ship reached Szczecin on June 2 around 10 p.m. German reports with photos: http://www.ln-online.de/Lokales/Luebeck/Festgefahren-Windboee-drueckt-Schiff-aus-dem-Fahrwasser http://www.hl-live.de/aktuell/text.php?id=107064
