Damage to aft mast

The 'Artemis' suffered damage to its aft mast, while encountering harsh weather in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, 155 miles east of Gaspe, Quebec, in position 47 48 54.3 N, 60 52 12.4 W, onJan 10, 2020, at 04.50 a.m. The tanker was enroute from Venice, Louisiana, to Quebec with an ETA as of Jan 11.

Grounding on Coatzacoalcos river

The "Artemis", coming from Texas, ran aground in the morning of Nov 5, 2017, on the Coatzacoalcos river at the Villa Allende pier after suffering a breakdown of the supply of electricity. The ship which had a draft of just over 11 meters stopped just a few meters off the breakwater and was taken in tow by five tugs which pulled it back into the fairway around 8:30 a.m. It berthed in Coatzacoalcos at 3.50 p.m. and berthed at dock three of the Pajaritos maritime terminal, where it woll unload 30.000 tons of diesel.
