Engine trouble in Les Escomins

The 'Safmarine Cameroun' suffered a failure of one of its main engine auxiliary blowers 15 miles northeast of Les Escoumins, Quebec, in position 48 21 15 N, long 69 01 06 W, on Dec 10, 2019, at 5.45 p.m. The vessel subsequently proceeded on its own power to the Les Rasades anchorage, to carry out repairs. On Dec 12 at 9.40 p.m. it berthed at the Cast Container Terminal in Montreal.

The "Safmarine Cameroun" got a problem with its main engine upon its departure from section 60 of the port of Montreal, Quebec, in position 45 33.877 N, 073 31.15 W, on Aug 31, 2019, at 07.45 a.m. The crew carried out repairs and the vessel proceeded to sea at 3.30 p.m.

Container ship disabled on St. Lawrence River

The "Safmarine Cameroun" was reportedly disabled in the St. Lawrence River 6,5 miles east north-east of Les Escoumins, Quebec, Canada, in position 48 21.7 N, 069 16.45 W, on Feb 20, 2019, at5.50 p.m. The crew carried out repairs while the vessel was drifting and the vessel resumed its voyage to Montreal where it berthed on Feb 21 at 11.40 p.m. It left the port again on Feb 26 at 1.40 a.m., bound to Algeciras, ETA March 10.
