Maersk Laguna first ship to handle containers in Jade Weser Port
The "Maersk Laguna" will be the first trading merchant ship to berth in the new built Jade-Weser-Port in Wilhelhmshaven on Sep 21, 2012. The ship will be coming from South Amercia and carry mainly fruits and vegetables. Starting end of September Maersk will run two services from South America and Asia in the port. The first container ship in port will, however, be the gutted "MSC Flaminia“ which is expected in port around Sep 8.
