Investigation against chief engineer suspected for water pollution
During a routine control aboard the "Azalea Galaxy" on Feb 26, 2014, the police Stade found out that the ship had pumped 1200 liquid chemicals into the Northsea start of the month in British waters. An investigation was launched against the chief engineer, a man of 40 years from Thailand, regarding the suspicion of water pollution. The prosecutor in Hambrug would involve the British authorities once the investigations were completed. The tanker sailed on to Antwerp on Feb 27 at 2.20 a.m.
