Wed Sep 04 09:23:21 CEST 2019 Timsen

The SAR tug "Mastelero" on Sep 3 towed the "Turia" towards Cartagena after the minesweeper was successfully refloated. Extraction of fuel continued

Fri Aug 30 12:05:46 CEST 2019 Timsen

Work continued to recover the fuel of the "Turia" off the coast of La Manga an was on track to finish after having completed the transfer of the tanks of the starboard side. The Navy hoped to make the decision on the procedure of the salvage to follow on Aug 30. An anti-pollution barrier has been deployed around the ship. An improvement of the wind and sea conditions had allowed to start the work and investigation of the hull by divers.
