DFDS closes Moss – Bilbao - Immingham cargo route
The current weak market conditions and, in particular the closure of a large paper customers business, have affected DFDS side port ships service on the Moss – Bilbao - Immingham route, and for this reason DFDS has decided to wind up the service. “We regret this very much, not least with regard to our customers using this service. In spite of hard work by everyone, the developments have not shown the improvements that are needed to continue the service,” says Vice President Vidar Karlsen. The route has been serviced by the side port ships LYSBRIS and LYSVIK SEAWAYS and has mainly been based on the transport of paper, general cargo and containers. Source: DFDS Update
