Peters Yard Wewelsfleth chosen for repairs

The "Angon" after ist collision with the cargo m/v "Katharina Siemer" (IMO: 8509820), was sent to the Peters Yard in Wewelsfleth for repairs of the damage suffered. The ship docked there on Nov 26 at 2 p.m. The "Katharina Siemer" remained at the Mützelfeldt Yard in Cuxhaven.

Collision off Brunsbüttel

On Nov 24, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. the Cyprus flagged cargo m/v "Katharina Siemer" (IMO: 8509820), was in collision with the "Angon" on the North West Anchorage off Brunsbüttel while enroute Sczcecin-Le Legue. The accident happened in dense fog. The ship was ordered to remain on the anchorage by the police Brunsbüttel. The "Angon" was underway from Puerto Marin to Sczcecin and ordered to remain anchored after the accident.
