Water ingress and list in Caspian Sea
On Jan 22, 2015, the "Little Ann" developed a list to port while transiting the Volga-Caspian Canal due to sudden water ingress in ballast tanks . The vessel anchored, and the crew tried to get the water ingress under control by own means, but failed. The icebreaker "Kapitan Metsayk" (IMO: 8027274) was dispatched to assist, and it was tried to drain the flooded tanks with its pumps. The vessel was ordered back to Astrakhan port, Volga, being escorted by the "Kaptain Metsayk".

General cargo vessel Little Ann ran aground on 682 kilometer mark in Volga-Baltic Canal in the evening June 3 13, en route from Podporzhye to Istanbul with 2130 tons of timber on board. vessel was refloated reportedly, on June 7, no damages reported. Vessel will be permitted to resume voyage after Class survey.
