Lisco Gloria to be dismantled
The "Lisco Gloria" is getting dismantled at the quay of the Western Shipyard in Klaipeda until May 2012. The Estonian Vakaru Refonda company which bought the wreck in 2011 in vain had tried to find a buyer for the hull and will gain 8000 tons metals scrap from it now. The hull is being cut up from the top to the bottom in floating condition. There are still buyers sought for the intact Wärtsilä-diesel engines, the bow thruster and propellers.
