Crew member died of Covid-19, more infected
The 'Libra' moored at Montevideo anchorage on Aug 28, 2021, after interrupting The her voyage from Lagos to Port Stanley due to several medical emergencies. Six crew members were transferred to hospital, one of them was already dead, five sick. The deceased man and two of the hospitalized were tested positive for Covid 19. Three o the hospitalized were in a serious health condition. The deceased seafarer was of Lithuanian nationality, among the five hospitalized were three Russians and two more Lithuanians. As of Aug 29, the ship remained quarantined in pos. 35° 3.20' N 056° 3.39' W.
Clogged filters in Irhish Sea
The "Libra", with a crew of 18 on board, suffered clooged filters on Dec 1, 2018, at 9.30 p.m. in position 57 58.9 N, 006 15.1 W. During the change of the filters the ship was adrift until 10.35 p.m. in north-easterly direction. The vessel had 3.902 tonnes of frozen fish on board and was bound from Gibraltar to Lagos.
