First cape-size vessel sets sail for BC Iron from Port Hedland
BC Iron says the first cape-size vessel to ship iron ore from its Nullagine project has left Port Hedland. The company said ore from its joint venture project with Fortescue Metals Group was loaded aboard the 170,000 tonne Anangel Prosperity, which set sail on Monday. Direct shipping ore is transported by truck from Nullagine to FMG's Christmas Creek operation and then sent by train to Herb Elliott port in Port Hedland.
