Disabled container ship towed to outer anchorage of Chittagong

The "Gladys" which had run aground on July 28 was towed to the outer anchorage of Chittagong and was likely to be declared a CTL. The ship had suffered water ingress in the engine room enroute from Port Kelang to Chittagong with 674 contgainers which caused a blackout. The ship was detained by Myanmar authorities and released in Sep 7. It was towed to Chittagong on Sep 10 and to the CCT jetty 1 on Oct 21 jointly by the tugs "Kandari 2" and "Kandari 10", the "Barshan 2" and the "Ocean Union" about two miles off the outer anchorage on Nov 26, 2013.
