Ferry pulled back to quay after engine breakdown
On June 9, 2017, the "Kvam", serving the route Larsnes - Åram - Voksa - Kvamsøya, suffered engine damage near Kvamsøya. People at Hakallestranda heard two loud bangs after the ferry departed around 10.30 a.m. with 10 passengers on board. The ship drifted off the shore. The ambulance boat "Ambu" came to assist and pulled the ferry to Kvamsøya around 11 a.m. A reserve ferry was to be inserted but had to be called off from the Skjeltene - Lepsøy - Haramsøy route and was expected four hours later. The "Kvam" was to be towed to a yard for checks. Ferry back to service after repairs
On Jan 8, 2015, at 10.45 p.m. the "Kvam" was back in normal operation with a saling from Larsnes after the ferry was sidelined due to technical problemsand had to be replaced by the "Solskel" while repairs were carried out in a yard. Ambulance boats were also carrying passengers in the meantime.
Ferry ran into quay at Voksa
The "Kvam" allided with the pier at Voksa in Sande on MAr 29, 2013, at 10 p.m. The Ferry suffered significant damage to the trapdoor. No one was injured. There were six cars and about ten passengers on board. The "Kvam" was allowed to proceed to Kvamsøya with the remaining passengers. Cars could leave the ship only on the undamaged end.
