KV HARSTAD 9312107

Tue Feb 22 11:53:35 CET 2011 Timsen

A pump of the "Harstad" has broken on Feb 22, 2011 while the vessel operated near Lyngør, and the reason for the damage were the challenging ice and weather conditions. About 20 cubic meters of oil leaked out, and the slick drived towards Aust-Agder. A helicopter was monitoring the drift of the slick. Work was started to control the spill.
