Tug lost dock
The "Malysh" was moored on Odessa anchorage on Nov 3, 2011, after a floating Dock being towed by the tug sank on Nov 1 at 7.02 p.m. in pos. 44 30.0N 035 13.0E in the Black Sea, while being towed from Tuapse port to Istanbul. The convoy consisting of the two tugs "Malysh" and "Manella" and the "Floating Dock No. 12" had left Tuapse on Oct 30. The dock was unmanned, no distress signal issued. What caused the sinking was unknown. The dock had been sold by the Tuapse Ship Repair Yard to a Turkish company.
