KRISTINA REGINA 5048485
After a docking at Turku Repair Yard in Naantali, the passenger vessel Bore (ex Kristina Regina) arrived to her original home port Turku on October 3, 2010 to be permanently moored as a floating hotel and restaurant in River Aura. During her last voyage she was towed by the tugs Hurtig and Fart. The original livery of the vessel has been restored and now the vessel will be refurbished before opened to the public during the autumn. The Bore was built in 1960 and traded for Bore between Stockholm and Turku until 1976. For the last 21 years the vessel has been operated by Kristina Cruises as the Kristina Regina. KRISTINA REGINA 5048485
The passenger vessel Kristina Regina has most likely sailed on her last long voyage and after a docking will be permanently moored in Turku as a floating hotel, restaurant and museum. The vessel arrived in Naantali on August 29, where she will be docked at Turku Repair Yard during the second half of September. During the refit she will be painted in her original Bore livery and get her old name back. The vessel was delivered in 1960 by Oskarshamns Varv in Sweden to the Finnish shipping company Bore as the Bore. Kristina Cruises has replaced the Kristina Regina with the newer cruise vessel Kristina Katarina, which started her maiden voyage the same day as the Kristina Regina left the fleet after having been handed over to her new owners.
