Ferry suffered damaged hydraulic pump

Mon Aug 07 11:19:36 CEST 2017 Timsen

The "Kragerø" encountered techincal technical problems on Aug 6, 2017, and had to be sidelined for repairs in Kragerø. The ferry company inserted the reserve ferry "Naus" as a replacement. As she had less capacity, cars were left behind upon the departure from Jomfruland at 10.50 a.m. and picked up only a few hours later. A mechanic was sent to repair the "Kragerø". It turned that she would return to service most likely not before the end of next week, as a hydraulic pump was found to be damaged and had to be repaired. The "Naus" and "Jesper" maintained the Kragerø-service meanwhile.
