Beached at Gadani
The "Karadeniz Powership Enis Bey" was beached at Gadani Beach on Dec 1, 2020. The vessel was delivered from Giessen-de Noord Bv, van der as "Norrsundet" in 1989 as a combined tanker/drycargovessel. In 1993 the vessel, owned by Van Nievelt Goudriaan & Co,Willemstad was renamed "Coldstream Shipping". In 1996 the new owner was Ahlmarco B.V. Netherlands Antilles and the vessel was now renamed "Fryken" of Willemstad. The ship was managed by the Norwegian Barber Ship Management for some years. The "Fryken" was in 2011 sold to Pakistan with a turkish company as manager. The name was changed to "Karadeniz Powership Enis Bey" with Monrovia flag.

Turkish group acquires oil tanker for power generating ships in Karachi port
Owners of the two Turkish power ships, which are providing 232MW of electricity to the national grid from Ibrahim Hyderi Jetty, have acquired an oil tanker to ensure smooth supply of furnace oil for power generation, The News reports. Karadeniz Group the owner of Kaya Bey and Ali Can Bey have acquired oil tanker Enis Bey to carry furnace oil from Port Qasim and Karachi Port Trust to the power ships, said Asad Mehmood, Project Manager Karkey. Karkey Karadeniz Elektrik Uretim A.S. is the first foreign company to bring in a ship of this size and run it under Pakistani Flag through its subsidiary company in Pakistan, Karpak Private Limited, Mehmood said. The oil tanker has safely anchored at Karachi Port Trust mooring on Sunday at 2 pm for change of flag.
