Repairs of allision damage completed

The "Meridian" left the Heise Shipyard in the fishing port of Bremerhaven after the repairs of the severe damage to the port side bow which started on Dec 8, 2016 following the allision with a concrete dolphin at the Strom Quay in Bremerhaven, on Jan 27 at 3 a.m. bound to Hamburg. On Jan 28 she left port again after cargo operations and headed to Landskrona, where she docked on Jan 31.

The "Meridian" is being under repair in the Fishing Port of Bremerhaven since Dec 8, 2016. On Nov 24 she had allided with a concrete dolphin at the Strom Quay in Bremerahven en route to oldenburg. The ship was allowed to continue the voyage after inspections before berthing at the quay of the Heise company for repairs of the significant hull damage sustained in the accident.
