Grounding off Kayangan port
The KMP 'Wicitra Dharma' which sailed from Kayangan Port, East Lombok Regency, to Poto Tano Port, West Sumbawa Regency, ran aground following an engine failure about one nautical mile from the Kayangan port ´ at Bui Merah on Oct 19, 2021, at around 1 a.m. THe SA) Office, after receiving a report from the Seaport Security Implementing Unit (KP3L), immediately dispatched persibbbel from Kayangan to the scene to evacuate the 35 passengers using a rubber boat.
