Turkish snow delays departure of new HB Grandi vessel
Snowstorms across Europe have prevented HB Grandi's new fishing vessel Engey from departing Celiktrans' shipyard near Instanbul, the Icelandic firm has said. The vessel is complete and ready to begin the two-week journey back to Iceland, where it will be fitted with Skaginn processing equipment. A crew of seven is waiting to sail Engey home. The vessel is 54.75 meters long and 13.5m wide, with engine power of 1,790 kW at 800 rpm. HB Grandi will be hoping the ongoing fishermen's strike has ended by the time Engey arrives. https://www.undercurrentnews.com/2017/01/12/turkish-snow-delays-departure-of-new-hb-grandi-vessel/
