Cargo ship caused oil spill on Trave
On Mar 11, 2015, at 4.45 p.m. an oil spill was remarked from the "Kaili" which was berthed in Lübeck-Schlutup. The fire rescue was called and laid out an oil boom around the vessel. The spill on the Trave could thus be contained. It was found out that the ship lost hydraulich oil at the propeller shaft. The ship was prohibited to sail, and it was thought that it would have to undergo repairs in a yard. The ship had sailed from Klaipeda on Mar 9 and berthed at the Schlutup Quay 1 on Mar 11 at 2.45 p.m. German reports with photos: http://www.ln-online.de/Lokales/Luebeck/Schiff-verliert-Oel-im-Schlutuper-Hafen http://www.hl-live.de/aktuell/textstart.php?id=97568
