Medevac off Tynemouth
An injured crew member of the "City of Paris" had to be evacuated from his ship off the coast of Tynemouth in the night of Sep 3, 2016, after he impaled his finger on a fish hook. The master of the vehicle carrier radioed Humber Coastguard at 7:30 p.m. The severity of the 35-year-old crewman's injuries meant he had to be evacuated and treated at hospital. Under tow to Falmouth, English Canal
Car carrier City of Paris suffered engine failure in English Canal on May 31, taken on tow by tug Morgawr (IMO 7800045), under tow to Falmouth for repairs, ETA June 1 13. Vessel left Newcastle upon Tyne bound for Santander.
