Tue May 29 09:12:08 CEST 2012 Timsen

The "Pochard" is actually expected in St. Petersburg on May 30, 4 p.m. Being enroute Dunkerque-St. Petersburg the vessel had suffered engine trouble in the Kiel Canal at Groß-Königsförde on May 28, 2012, at 11 a.m. The tugs "Kiel" and "Holtenau" were called from Kiel. The "Holtenau" connected as a stern tug, and before the disabled ship passed the locks in Holtenau at 6 p.m., also the "Kiel" joined. The vessel was finally berthed at the Scheer Port in Kiel for surveys and repairs. Around 11 p.m. the same day, the engine was fixed, and the ship continued its eastbound voyage.
