Ismet Atasoy seriously damaged by storm in Istanbul
In the night of Oct 18, 2011, the "Ismet Atasoy" was pushed ashore due to a storm from SSW with wind forces of 7-8 Bf. among four other cargo vessels. Some of the ships, including the "Ismet Atasoy", were seriously damaged, but there were no casualities.
