Detention in Novorossyisk

On Feb 18, 2025, the Isik 4' was detained in Novorossiysk with 11 deficiencies, eight of which being regarded as seriously and grounds for a detention: 1) Life saving Appliances - Rescue boats Not as required 2) Life saving Appliances - Lifebuoys incl provision and disposition Not as required 3) Life saving Appliances - Rescue boat inventory Not as required 4) Emergency systems - Emergency source of power - emergency generator Inoperative 5) Propulsion and auxiliary machinery - Auxiliary machinery Not as required 6) Propulsion and auxiliary machinery - Propulsion main engine Not as required 7) Safety of navigation - Pilot ladders and hoist/iplo transfer arrangements Damaged 8)) ISM - Ism certificate Not as required The vessel was released again on Feb 20. Vessel under tow in Mediterranean Sea

The 'Muammer Bey', en route from Chioggia to Iskenderun with an ETA as of May 2, was disabled in the Mediterranean Sea on April 30, 2022, and requested towing assistance. Repairs in Brest completed

On Sep 23 the owner of the "Vita" presented a detailed plan of action regarding the planned repairs. He also announced to the Maritime Prefecture of the Atlantic that he planned to finish the work by 5:30 p.m. In view of these factors, the Maritime Prefect extended the authorization to anchor the vessel in Brest until 11.30 p.m. As repairs were carried out as planned, thanks to favourable weather conditions, tests were carried out in the presence of an inspector of the classification society as required by international regulations. At the end, the "Vita" sailed around 10:30 p.m. and resumed its route to the port of Pasajes.
