Decommissioned ferry underway to Aliaga
After the preparations for towage were completed in the afternoon of Sep 8, 2014, the "Isabel del Mar" on Sep 9 departed from Barcelona to breakers in Aliaga, being pulled by the tug "Hellas" which had arrived in port the previous morning. The ship had been auctioned by the APB (Autoritat Portuaria de Barcelona-Port Authority of Barcelona) before, and the winner of the auction was the Bereket Gemi Sokum Ithalat Tilaret Ltd. Sirketi.
