Worker medevaced after accident during loading operations

Thu Jan 07 19:07:03 CET 2016 Timsen

On Jan 7, 2016, a worker was injured in an accident on board the "Isaac Newton" in Borg Havn, Frederikstad, where it was loading a 7,000-tonne cable. The man suffered a serious head injury. There were four men who worked to lay the cable on a big drum when it slipped and hit one of the workers at the head. A helicopter took him to Kalnes. He was described as stable later and was monitored.
