Allision on Paraná

The bulk carrier 'Fortune Miracle' was in allision with the 'Interlink Fortuity' on Nov 23, 2019, at 3 a.m. off San Lorenzo on the Paraná river at km 442. She was under way with 45100 tons of soy on board, bound for Santos with an ETA as of Nov 29. She struck the anchored 'Interlink Fortuity', which was waiting to get permittance to take on a cargo at the Bunge dock in Puerto San Martin, with its starboard side at port side. Engine fauilure on Paranà

The "Interlink Fortuity", coming from San Lorenzo and being loaded with 33.000 tonnes of maize, suffered damage to its main engine and was obstructing the navigation at km 139 of the Paraná Las Palmas River on Dec 23, 2018, at 2.15 p.m. Due to the loss of power, the vessel was unable to heave up its anchors.
