Trawler recovered capsized fishing boat
In the morning of April 14, 2021, the KNRM rescued two fishermen from a life raft after their 8-meter-boat capsized off the coast of Wijk aan Zee. They had thrown out the life raft after their boat suffered a leak and capsized. The lifeboats of IJmuiden and Wijk aan Zee were on scene. The IJmuiden lifeboat picked up the fishermen from the raft.
