HUA HAI LONG offloads Jack up rig ENSCO 121 in Rotterdam
The Chinese semi-submersible transport vessel HUA HAI LONG arrived last week Sunday March 16th after a trip of 51 days from Singapore in Rotterdam Caland canal where the vessel was moored in preparations for the offloading of the Jack up rig ENSCO 121. After ballasting the vessel the ENSO 121 was offloaded by several SMIT tugs which tugs , the SMIT CHEETAH, UNION GRIZZLY, SMIT PANTHER and SMIT EBRO towed in continuation of the offloading operation the Rig to the Keppel Verolme shipyard in Rotterdam-Botlek
New floating hotel Sunborn Gibraltar arrives on Hua Hai Long at Gibraltar Port
Gibraltar’s new floating hotel Sunborn Gibraltar arrived on June 11 morning on the back of chinese Heavy Lifter submersible vessel Hua Hai Long. According to her owners, weather permitting, ‘float-off ops’ from her transportation vessel will commence this morning and, aided by tugs, she’ll cruise into Gibdock under her own propulsion ready for minor preparatory works. Brian Stevendale, CEO for Sunborn Gibraltar, said: “This is a huge news story for Gibraltar, the arrival of the world’s first five star yacht hotel on our shores. “
