The 'Horizon II', while en route from Singapore to Vietnam, was boarded by two perpetrators in position 01 15 11N, 104 04 49E, about 2.9 miles north of Pulau Nongsa, Indonesia, whjo were sighted on the stern deck of the vessel on April 22, 2020, at 11.10 p.m. One of the perpetrators was armed with a knife. The general alarm was raised, and the crew was mustered on the bridge. The Master of the vessel reported the incident to the Singapore Vessel Traffic Information System (VTIS). A safety navigational broadcast was initiated. The Republic of Singapore Navy's (RSN) Maritime Security Task Force (MSTF), Singapore Police Coast Guard (PCG) and the Indonesian authorities were notified.
