Fuel filter blockade off Scilllies
On April 26, 2019, the "Horizon" suffered a fuel filter blockage in pos. 49 11 39 N, 006 20 38 W, about 43 miles south of the Isles of Scilly, while en route from Alcanar to Tilbury. After the initial completion of repair works, the vessel was under way to its destination again at 6.55 p.m. At 8 p.m. the vessel was noted to be not under command again. The crew confirmed cleaning of fuel oil filters before the changeover of fuel, while it drifted into the French SRR. Then the ship resumed sailing again with an ETA as of April 28.
