Disabled bulkcarrier towed to Shidao
The "Hong Wei 618" was disabled after an engine failure and blackout in the afternoon of May 3, 2017, about 70 miles south of Shidao in the Yellow Sea. The SAR ship "Bei Hai Jiu 118" (IMO: 9763435) was sent to assist. After more than 12 hours of towage the bulkcarrier was arrived at Shidao Anchorage where it was moored.
